POLITICAL ACTIVITIES : Beginning of the college life in the year 1962 I joined student politics . In the year 1964 I was elected general
secretary of students union choumuhoni college ( defeating A.S.M. Abdur Rob- Ex. minister).I was one of the activist in all the student movements including 1969 movement . I had actively supported liberation war in 1971.
a) I worked as treasurer of Noakhali district Awami League for five years.
b) Member National Committee of Bangladesh Awami league for ten years.
c) Member of the executive committee of Laksmipur district Awami league for five years.
d) At present I am member of the Advisory Committee of Laksmipur district Awami league.
e) I contested in the Parliament Election held on 1986 and 1991 from Laksmipur constituency in Ramgonj as Awami league candidate.
f) After 1991 I retired from active politics.
Credibility in profession : I was selected as a CIP in the year 1989-91, 1991-92 & 1994-95.
- Visited Australia as a member of the Prime Minister’s entourages in her official visit in the year 1999.
- Visited U.S.A. with scholarship of U.S. AID for study food policy, Procurement etc. In this July’2000 to August 2000 with two Govt. Officials.
- Visited Japan, Korea, Taiwan and Uzbekistan as Deputy Leader of the FBCCI Business Delegation in the year’2004.
- Visited Egypt as a leader of the FBCCI 10 member Delegation in the Seminar Organized by Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry in April,’2004 on Investment scenario of Islamic Countries.
- Visited Kingdom of Bahrain as leader of the FBCCI Delegation to attend the Seminar of Investment scenario of Islamic countries organized by Islamic Chamber of Commerce & Industry.
- Visited state of Qatar as a guest of Ammer of Qatar to attend the Doha Forum on Democracy and free Trade held on 29th & 30th March 2005.
-Visited Kingdom of Saudi Arabia as a deputy Leader on May,2006.
- And other important countries of the world as business delegate and Govt. delegate. I was elected Secretary General of the 9th meeting of Japan. Bangladesh Joint committee for Economic & Commercial Co-operation held in 1998.
